Part-Time Retail Store Associate

Are you a creative thinker with a vibrant personality who loves interacting with people? Do you have retail sales experience and a knack for delivering exceptional customer service? If so, Tijon Fragrance Lab is looking for you to join our team as a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate!
At Tijon, we combine creativity, science, and luxury to offer a one-of-a-kind fragrance-making experience. We’re opening our new store in the heart of Ybor City and are looking for a dynamic individual to help bring this unique experience to life for our guests.
Responsibilities:
As a Store Associate, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Stocking Inventory: Maintain organized and well-stocked shelves to create a polished retail environment.
• Sales Floor Assistance: Greet guests, provide personalized product recommendations, and assist with purchases to drive sales of Tijon Branded products, as well as specialty retail
• Fragrance Classes: Conduct interactive fragrance-making workshops, guiding guests through the fragrance making process, label and bottle the final product
• Store Maintenance: Ensure the store, fragrance lab, bathrooms, and stockroom are clean and welcoming.
• Register Operations: Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Scheduling: Manage class bookings and ensure smooth coordination for upcoming sessions.
• Customer Communications: Answer phones and respond to inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Social Media Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging photos and videos for our social media platforms to showcase products, workshops, and the unique Tijon experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail sales experience is required.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Creative thinker with a passion for customer interaction and problem-solving.
• Must be comfortable working up to 5 days a week, including weekends.
• Have a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and senior management.
• Ability to handle various fragrance smells without issue (those sensitive to scents or prone to fragrance-related allergies need not apply).
• Reliable transportation to Ybor City and comfortable with paying for parking.
