Overview Learn the fundamentals of Street photography and unlock your creative potential with FMoPA’s comprehensive introductory course. In this 2-hour workshop and photo walk, participants will explore the essence of street photography through insightful discussions and hands-on guidance. Delve into the genre’s history, gain insights on equipment and techniques, and embark on a guided photo walk through historic Ybor City. Whether novice or experienced, this workshop promises to enhance your skills and ignite your creative vision in street photography. Meet the Educator Lance Rothstein is a photojournalist with more than 20 years experience and he has worked for numerous publications including The New York Times, the Miami Herald, and the Tampa Tribune. He was also a staff photographer for the Tampa Bay Times for nine years. After six years working as a freelance photographer in Europe, Lance is back in Florida, and specializes in teaching film & darkroom photography locally.
