Buildings Alive! Ybor City Architecture Hop
Join the Ybor City Museum Society for the sixth annual Buildings Alive! Ybor City Architecture Hop for behind-the-scenes tours of five significant buildings that trace Cuba's role in shaping Tampa's cultural heritage.
Hoppers will ride rubber-wheeled trolleys or walk from stop to stop, take unique tours of each location, and sample fantastic food and drinks along the way. Tours of each building are given throughout the night and Buildings Alive! attendees can experience the hop at their own pace. Begin with check-in and the Send-Off Party in the Garden of the Ybor City Museum State Park.
Don Vicente (Gonzalez Clinic), Swope Rodante (Florida Brewery), and the Oliva
Building (under construction).
You won't want to miss these new activities!
- A visit to the construction site of a historic factory that is being rehabilitated and repurposed
- Artist Sheryl Oring will be at the Send-Off Party to capture stories that will later be integrated
into a sculpture at the Tampa International Airport.
