Join us at the Centro Asturiano de Tampa for an evening with Doug Kelly, author of Sunshine State Mafia: A History of Florida’s Mobsters, Hit Men, and Wise Guys.
 

Take a wild ride through Florida’s Mafia lore. From bootlegging to drug running, this book unveils the hidden history of organized crime rings across the state. This compelling presentation includes images from family archives never before published.
 

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served, and drinks will be available for purchase from the Centro Asturiano, with a full bar open for mixed cocktails, beer, and wine. The featured cocktail for the evening is the Bee's Knees, a Prohibition Era favorite, for all the gin lovers out there!
 

Books will be available for purchase the night of the event or stop by and see us at one of our pop-up events or the Ybor City Saturday Market to buy a copy.
