Newman Cigar Co. will celebrate the founding of the company (May 5) and the birthday of its founder (May 26) by opening up the factory on a Saturday.\n\n\n\nVisitors can take a free tour of the factory\, explore the cigar museum\, peruse the factory store and celebrate outside with live music\, food trucks\, lawn games and a Cuban Sandwich eating challenge! This event is family-friendly\, free and open to the public. A recreation of Sanchez y Haya cigars - Tampa's first cigar rolled in 1886 - will be available for a special throwback price of just 5 cents each (limit 2 per person) with any purchase of $20 or more.\n\n\n\nJoin us in celebrating 131 years of tradition\, heritage and Tampa's last working cigar factory!
