DESCRIPTION:Join us for Episode One of the Military Affairs Committee's Edu-MAC-ation Series as we present Molly Longmire of Camaraderie Foundation and Solomon Howard of Tucker/Hall. The Edu-MAC-ation Series is the MAC's virtual series that promotes and provides resources and information for veteran-owned and veteran-friendly businesses\, as well as veterans\, in our Ybor City Community.\n\n \n\nMs. Longmire will present on the services available to veterans and their families through Camaraderie Foundation and resources to remove the barriers to mental health providers including through in-person or telehealth options\, as the need has grown exponentially throughout the pandemic. Ms. Longmire will share the ways that her organization has adapted services to meet the unique challenges of the pandemic and current available resources. \n\n \n\nMr. Howard will be discussing how organizations can best handle online crises in the fast-moving\, low-context age of social media\, including resources available locally.
